Port of Call 1991
This drawing was part of a series of work I’d made during a residency at Canberra Institute of the Arts in 1991.
The symbols around the edge refer to a series of landmarks visible from the quay in Hobart. The Tasmanian mountains, the harbour and an old semaphore signalling tower, their last message on closure was forgotten, apt and to the point.
