Archive 1984
Archive is really the point at which the early minimal music inspired works morph into something quite different. It’s the reintroduction of pattern and the beginning of a fascination with historical textiles as a site for a contemporary artist to explore. It’s also the gradual realization that textiles form an unbroken tradition, one filled with so many interconnecting ideas.
Archive is a work I’ve always kept close.
