Strongly influenced by a visit to Santorini in Crete, in particular the ancient Minoan site of Akrotiri which was destroyed by a volcanic explosion in 1500 BC.

Buried under layers of ash were fragments of pottery, frescoes and other everyday objects.

Archaeology has been and continues to be a constant source of inspiration, I’m particularly interested in the conjectural aspect of how we interpret information without any visibly, clear or defined context.
